Project Overview
Project: Construction of Marassi District Cooling Plant (DCP)
Client: Araner – Spain
Location: Bahrain
Duration: 2020–2021
Project Description
Arabian International Contracting Co. WLL (AIC) played a key role in the construction of the Marassi District Cooling Plant (DCP) in Bahrain, collaborating with Araner – Spain between 2020 and 2021. The project was designed to deliver efficient and sustainable cooling solutions for the Marassi Al Bahrain development.
Our responsibilities included the installation of an Allen Bradley PLC Panel (1 No.), three Remote I/O (RIO) Panels, and complete instrumentation cabling works. These control systems form the backbone of the plant’s automation, allowing for real-time monitoring and precise management of the cooling operations. The project was finalized with the testing and commissioning of all systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Excellence in Execution
By integrating reliable and high-performance control systems, AIC supported the delivery of a state-of-the-art district cooling facility. This project underscores our capabilities in executing complex E&I works and our continued contribution to sustainable infrastructure solutions in Bahrain.
