Project Description

The Water Transmission Development Project, led by Nass Contracting in partnership with EWA (Electricity and Water Authority), was a strategic initiative aimed at upgrading Bahrain’s water infrastructure through the design and construction of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) at key pump station sites. Executed from October 2016 to March 2017, the project involved multiple critical locations including Juffair, Busaiteen, Sitra DFS, Isa Town DS, and Durrat Al Bahrain DS.

Each pump station was constructed to meet the specific operational demands of the water network, ensuring both structural durability and efficiency. AIC contributed to the successful delivery of this infrastructure by implementing advanced engineering solutions and construction methods tailored to water utility applications. These facilities now play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable water transmission and distribution across the region.

Excellence in Execution

The successful completion of this project highlights AIC’s commitment to infrastructure development and our capability to execute multi-site, utility-scale construction projects. By delivering on time and to specification, AIC helped enhance Bahrain’s water supply resilience while supporting EWA’s broader vision of sustainable and efficient water resource management.
